I will then provide an example of a conflict from my work team, explaining its type, topic, and resolution. In the second part, I will define the three measurements of creativity mentioned in the textbook and discuss how team conflict can lead to team creativity.

According to Chapter 8 of the textbook, there are three types of team conflict: task conflict, relationship conflict, and process conflict. Task conflict refers to disagreements and differences of opinion related to the content and goals of the team’s work. It often arises when team members have varying perspectives on how to approach tasks, make decisions, or allocate resources. Relationship conflict, on the other hand, relates to interpersonal issues and negative emotions between team members. This type of conflict can stem from personality clashes, communication breakdowns, or conflicting values or preferences.
